Warning: My coding demo crashed during a family dinner
I built my first simple web app and wanted to show it off at dinner. When I pulled it up on my laptop, the main button just made the screen go white. My aunt asked if I broke the internet, which was kinda funny but also embarrassing. Now I'm scared to let anyone see my code until it's perfect. How do you guys deal with bugs when presenting your projects?

Used to think my code had to be flawless before anyone saw it. That demo crash taught me bugs are just part of the process, not a personal failure. Now I see a glitch as a chance to explain how I'll fix it, which actually makes me look more prepared.

That demo crash you mentioned is such a real moment. I used to tie my whole self-worth to clean code, too. Shifting to see issues as just problems to solve really is freeing.

My friend once had a major client demo where the system froze completely. He had tied his pride to that code being flawless, so it hit him hard. Over time, he learned to treat each bug as a puzzle piece, not a personal flaw. That shift made his job less stressful and more about problem solving. It's funny how a crash can teach you to let go of perfection.
