TIL my toddler loves 'helping' grind beans for weekend coffee.

Letting them push the button on the grinder keeps them busy and starts a fun tradition.

Honestly that "fun tradition" part is so real. My kid used to demand to press the button on the blender for my morning smoothie. The noise was half the thrill for him. Now the smell of bananas makes me think of those crazy mornings. It's a core memory for sure.

How do you deal with the blender screech every morning? Honestly, I got my niece involved by giving her those big over-ear headphones. We'd count to ten while she pressed the button, turning it into a math thing. Tbh, it saved my ears and she loved feeling like a scientist. Now when I hear a blender, I just smile thinking of her concentrated face. Those little routines stick with you.
