Upgrade: Ditch the plastic pour over funnel for a cheap glass one in Tulsa
Used the same plastic Hario V60 for like 7 years. It got scratches, smelled like old coffee no matter how I cleaned it. Last month I grabbed a $14 glass version at a shop near the depot. Night and day. The plastic one held heat weird and made the brew stall out sometimes. Glass just drains cleaner, no weird static either. Plus I can actually see the extraction level now. Took me 2 tries to dial in my grind since it flows faster. Anyone else make a similar switch and have to adjust their pour timing?
