GC told me my conduit runs looked like spaghetti, so I changed one habit on my last job in Fresno
I was running EMT on a 12,000 sq ft tenant improvement in Fresno last year and the GC pulled me aside after the rough inspection. He said my pipe looked like spaghetti and told me to walk the run before I bent anything. I started laying out my whole path with a chalk line and marking every coupling spot first instead of bending as I went. The next inspection the same guy signed off without a word, and I saved about 6 hours of rework on that floor. Curious if any of you lay out long runs with a string line or just eyeball it once you have done it a while.
