My GC said to skip the soil test on a Phoenix pad and we hit caliche at 3 feet
He swore the whole subdivision was clean fill and we'd save $1,800 on the test. We spent 11 days jackhammering and the owner back charged us for the delay. Anybody else had a super talk you out of a test you should have run?
