Bought a cheap dive light off a website and it flooded at 40 feet

I grabbed a 'budget' light for $80 thinking it would be fine for basic inspection work. It filled with water on my second dive, ruining the unit and almost leaving me in the dark. What's a solid brand you guys actually trust for lights that won't fail?

Check the warranty before you buy anything. A good brand will back their gear for years, not just until you walk out the door. That tells you more about their build quality than any ad.
