inThe day I fixed a car with zip ties and a soda can
Heard a similar story on a car forum last month. Those cheap fixes sometimes just work.

inThought I could fix a loose drawer joint in 20 mins took me 3 hours
Is it bad that I've used the excuse "sorry, my hands are still sticky from that project" to get out of shaking hands with people for three days straight now? @clark.robin nailed it though, I spent six hours on a shelf that was supposed to take thirty minutes because I kept dropping the bracket and cussing at the wall. At least now I've got a legit reason to avoid small talk with the neighbor who always wants to tell me about his lawn care routine.

inI used to think solar panels were a scam until I saw my neighbor's savings

inFinally fixed a tricky boot loop on a HP laptop this morning
Hate to push back but the freezer trick usually just masks the real issue. The cold makes things contract temporarily but once it warms up the problem comes right back. I'd rather find and fix the actual bad connection than rely on a temporary bandaid.

inHot take: I saw a 737's engine cowl go from a 3-hour job to under 90 minutes
Man, I had a buddy who swore he'd never touch the new bolt kit. First time he tried it, he spent half an hour chasing the same washer across the hangar floor. Now he's the one timing everyone else and laughing about it.
