Tried a new comms cable on a salvage job versus my old one

We were working a wreck in Lake Michigan and my old cable kept getting snagged on the structure, but the new one with a tighter weave jacket slid right through. It saved us about an hour of hassle and potential damage on a single dive. What's your go-to cable brand for dirty bottom work?

Read a forum post where someone swore by a cable with a slick coating, said it just glides over rust.

Yeah, that jacket weave makes a huge difference. I had a cable get totally chewed up on some old steel last season, switched to one with a smoother cover and it was like night and day. I get why @the_margaret swears by Samson for rope, that same focus on the outer layer really matters. For me, it's been the Yale Cordage stuff that's held up, the sheath just doesn't seem to grab onto every sharp edge down there.
