My new guy asked why we test PSUs first, and I didn't have a good answer
Had a kid named Devin shadowing me at the shop on 5th Street, and he asked why I always throw a known good power supply in before I touch anything else. I started to say "because that's how I was taught" and stopped myself, because honestly it saves me maybe 20 minutes on half my tickets and just costs me one bench unit. Been doing this 11 years and nobody ever made me explain it out loud. Anyone got a shop rule like that where you can't really defend it but it keeps working?
