Spent $400 on a server rack UPS and it was a total waste

Bought a CyberPower OR700LCDRM1U for my home lab thinking it'd save my gear during brownouts. Thing beeped nonstop for two weeks then the battery swelled up. Anyone else had better luck with a different brand?

Aw man, I used to swear by CyberPower but that story changed my mind.

Oh man, that's exactly how I felt when I saw that post. I used to recommend CyberPower to everyone too because they were always the budget friendly option. But after reading about how bad their customer support is when things go wrong, I'm rethinking everything lol. It's wild how a company can build up a good reputation for years and then one bad experience just wipes it all out. Guess I'll be sticking with tried and true brands from now on even if they cost a bit more.
