Went from 200 subs to 2k in 3 months after one simple change
I started a gaming channel back in April and was stuck at like 200 subs for months. Then I switched from recording my whole stream to making short 8-10 minute highlight edits with commentary after each session. Now I'm at 2,100 subs and my retention shot up from like 30% to 65%. Has anyone else seen a huge jump just by changing your format like that?

Jumped in here because this makes total sense once you step back and look at how people consume content these days. It's the same thing I've noticed at my local library - nobody wants to sit through a three hour lecture when a 10 minute summary gives them the highlights and lets them move on. You're giving viewers what they actually want: the good stuff without the filler. That retention jump is proof that shorter, focused content wins over longer, scattered stuff almost every time. It's like how people prefer a clear, direct sign in a store rather than a long paragraph they'll never read.

Don't you think people still crave depth sometimes, @margaret304?
