My roommate nearly called the cops over my midnight snack
I was in our kitchen at 2 AM making my favorite comfort food: a bowl of instant ramen with a scoop of peanut butter stirred in. He walked in, saw the jar, and thought I was having some kind of stress-induced breakdown. I had to eat three bites in front of him to prove it was a deliberate choice, not a cry for help. Has anyone else had to defend their weird food combo to a horrified witness?

My old partner at the firehouse swore by peanut butter in his ramen for years. I thought it was the grossest thing until he made me try a bite during a long overnight shift. The way it makes the broth creamy and adds a salty-sweet thing totally won me over. Now I keep a jar in my locker. Your roommate just hasn't had the right person show them the light yet. What other weird combos do you secretly love?
