The great cold pizza vs. reheated pizza debate in my house
Okay, so this morning I opened the fridge and saw the last two slices from the pie we got from Tony's Pizza on Friday. My husband looked at me like I was crazy when I grabbed one straight from the box, cold. He said, 'You're a monster, just heat it up for 30 seconds!' I had to make a choice: enjoy the perfect chewy, congealed cheese texture right now, or wait for the microwave and risk a soggy crust. I picked cold, obviously. It's the best way to eat leftover pizza, period. The flavors are more intense when they're not steaming hot. He actually shuddered and called it 'barbaric.' We've been married for eight years and this might be our biggest fight yet. Has anyone else had to defend their cold pizza honor to a reheating fanatic?
