Can we talk about using a tiny bit of conditioner to smooth flyaways before a blowout?
I was fighting with a client's coarse hair in a humid Chicago summer and tried putting a dime-sized amount of leave-in conditioner on my palms, rubbing them together, and then just gliding them over the surface before the final pass with the round brush, which made the whole thing lie flat without looking greasy or weighed down.

Leave-in conditioner" before a blowout is risky, it can actually make hair look greasy faster. A tiny bit of regular rinse-out conditioner smoothed on wet hair works way better for that final seal.

Honestly my hair just does whatever it wants no matter what I use.

Yeah but that rinse-out trick only works with certain formulas. Tried it with my old silicone-heavy conditioner and it just sat on top of my hair, felt weird. A light leave-in spray, the kind you use a single pump of, gives way more control. It's all about not overdoing it, lol. A heavy cream will definitely grease you up by lunchtime.
