Had to choose between a high-end foil and budget foils for highlights today
Honestly, I was at the supply shop in Austin and had to pick: spend $40 on a box of Cinnamon foils or grab the store brand for $12. I went with the cheap ones because my wallet was hurting. Big mistake. They tore on three different clients and one slipped right off the sectioning clip. Now I'm out more money replacing the cheap ones than if I'd just bought the good stuff first. Has anyone else had this happen with bargain foils?

Oh MAN, I FEEL this in my soul! I bought the cheap store brand foils once to save a buck and ended up looking like a glittery tin foil Christmas tree after they shredded all over the salon floor.

Did yours snap when you tried to tear them too? I had a pack where like half the sheets were fused together and I spent more time wrestling with the foil than actually doing the highlights. Ended up with these weird jagged edges that bled everywhere, total mess. My client was a good sport about it but I was not happy.
