Hot take: I'll take a slow season over a busy one, and my crew thinks I'm crazy
Everyone at the yard says the money is in the busy months, but last August I worked the new hospital tower in Boise with 14 hour days for 12 straight days and nearly dropped a load off the 3rd floor deck when my hands quit on me. Give me the slow season where I can do a real pre-lift check and actually talk to my rigger, does anyone else plan their year around downtime instead of chasing every overtime shift?
