Tried a brand new load chart app on my Grove yesterday and got the swing radius completely backwards

I was so excited to use the app for picking a 12-ton beam at a job site outside Austin that I didn't double check the manual, and now I'm wondering how many other operators have had a new tool screw up their lift plan like that.

Honestly, I'm going to push back on this. Apps are just tools, same as a tape measure or a spirit level. If you got the swing radius backwards, that's on you for not double-checking your inputs, not the app. I've seen guys swear by the old paper charts and still mess up because they misread a line or used the wrong column. Technology's supposed to make things faster, but if you're not gonna verify your numbers, you're setting yourself up for a mistake every time. Blaming the app is like blaming your hammer for hitting your thumb. You gotta take ownership of the plan, plain and simple.
