Vent: That time I got stuck at a job site in Wichita for 9 hours waiting on the wrong load

Last Thursday my dispatcher swore the steel beam was already on the truck, but after I'd already rigged up and climbed the cab, a flatbed rolled in with a 40-foot I-beam for a job 20 miles away, and I just sat there watching the sun move while the real crew sorted out their paperwork, so has anyone else had a load mix-up that cost you more than the paycheck was worth?
