Set up 2FA on my email 3 weeks ago and locked myself out for 2 hours, still worth it
I finally turned on two factor auth for my main email after putting it off forever, and then last Tuesday I wiped my phone and realized my backup codes were saved in a note on that same phone. I had to dig through an old moving box for a printed copy I made 3 weeks ago, and honestly that scare taught me more about recovery plans than any article did. What's your backup plan if you lose the device with your authenticator app on it?
