Switched from a password manager to a physical notebook on my desk at work

I work in a small office of 12 people and got worried about our LastPass account getting hacked like that big breach in 2022. Bought a small spiral notebook with a lock on it and kept it in my drawer. Honestly it's been 4 months and nobody has even tried to open it, plus I stopped forgetting passwords.

Honestly, wouldn't a fire or someone just swiping the whole drawer be a bigger worry than someone snooping?

nobody has even tried to open it" - okay but have you tested this yourself? Like leave it unlocked on your desk for a day and see if anyone peeks? I'm curious because the whole point of a lock is deterrence, but if people know it's a notebook (not like a safe) maybe they just assume it's your diary or something boring. My worry would be more about the notebook itself getting lost or stolen (someone grabs your whole drawer one day) not just somebody reading it. Have you thought about what you'd do if you misplaced the whole thing?
