Dropped $300 on a hardware key for my parents and it saved them from a fake bank call
My dad almost gave a caller his login info a couple months back. The guy said he was from the bank and knew the last four of his card, so it sounded real. I set both my parents up with a security key last month, about $300 for two of them plus a spare, and now even a stolen password does nothing without the physical key. It felt like a lot of money at the time. Has anyone here gotten an older parent to actually stick with one, or do they just leave it in the drawer?
