Found out 80% of phishing emails use a display name you already trust, according to a report I read on the FBI's site
I pulled up the IC3's 2023 report after a fake DocuSign email nearly got me, and the number that stuck with me was that most of these come from names in your own contacts, not random strangers, so now I check the actual email address before clicking anything, has anyone else noticed the sender name is always the tell?
