PSA: A guy at a coffee shop in Boise asked to 'borrow my charger' and plugged in a USB stick instead
Sitting at a cafe on 8th Street about 6 months ago when a guy at the next table asked if he could borrow my charging cable for a minute since his phone was dead. I handed it over without thinking, and out of the corner of my eye I saw him plug something that was NOT a phone into the other end. I grabbed it back and left, and later found out that little gadget is called a USB Rubber Ducky and it can dump keystrokes into a laptop in seconds if the port is open. I had a work laptop in my bag that whole time. Has anyone else run into this, and do you use one of those USB data blockers on your cables now?
