36 hours of PB Blaster freed a 12 year old exhaust bolt that I was sure was gonna snap
Last Tuesday I started soaking the downpipe bolts on a 2011 Cummins that hadn't been apart since it left the factory, and every one of them looked like a petrified rock. I hit them with PB Blaster every 6 hours for a day and a half, and by Thursday morning all four backed out by hand with no heat and no snapped heads. How do you all decide when to keep soaking versus just grabbing the torch and getting it over with?
