Got a seized injector out with a makeshift puller and some heat
Last month I had a 6.0 Powerstroke in my bay with an injector that wouldn't budge, even after soaking it in penetrating oil for two days. I threaded a grade 8 bolt into the injector body, heated the head around it with a map gas torch, and popped it out with a slide hammer in under 10 minutes. Anybody got a better method for stuck injectors that doesn't risk snapping the bolt?

Heat's the ticket every time, just gotta be real careful not to overdo it. The slide hammer with that grade 8 bolt is probably the safest way to go without snapping something. Soaking overnight with a decent penetrant never hurts either, but your method sounds solid.

Took me a minute to realize you threaded the bolt into the injector body itself, not into the fuel line. Did you use any particular trick to keep the bolt from stripping the threads when you put the slide hammer on it, or did you just go slow and careful?
