Last Thursday I had a brand new Detroit 60 series blow a head gasket after 3 hours of run time
Was doing a final test run on a swap job and it started puking coolant everywhere. The block was decked wrong from the reman shop, has anyone else seen this kind of QC slip lately?

Had a buddy get a reman 60 series from a shop in Ohio last spring. Put it in a Western Star and it made it about 50 miles before the oil cooler let go. The deck surface was damn near .008 out of spec. Took them three months to get a replacement and the shop tried to blame him for overheating it.
