Spent 11 hours fixing a color banding issue that turned out to be one checkbox in export settings
I was exporting a digital piece for a gallery show in Chicago and got these ugly bands across my gradients every single time, so I redid the whole thing in three different programs. It was the dithering box. One click, and it was gone, after 11 hours of my life I will never get back. Anyone else lose a whole day to a setting they did not know existed?

I read dithering matters most for gradients, that one checkbox gets everybody.
