Unpopular opinion: my 2019 drawing tablet still beats my fancy new one and I feel kind of dumb about it
So back in 2019 I grabbed a 10 inch tablet off Amazon for like $70 and it drew fine, no issues, just did the job. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago and I drop $400 on a newer one with way better specs and a fancy screen, and honestly my old clunky one still felt more natural in my hand. I spent a whole Saturday night in my apartment in Boise trying to match the brush feel of my old setup on the new one and never got it right. Now the $400 one sits on my desk as a very expensive second monitor while I sketch on the cheap one like nothing happened. Is there some setting I'm missing, or did I just get weirdly attached to a $70 piece of plastic?
