Coworking space wifi went down mid-call with a client in Bali yesterday - do you blow off the client or stay and fix it?
I was on a Zoom pitch with a potential $2k project when the router in my Ubud coworking space just DIED on me. I scrambled to a cafe 20 minutes away but the signal there was worse - has anyone else had to choose between losing a client or killing their whole afternoon hunting for internet?

and honestly, having a backup plan like a mobile hotspot or a list of 3 coworking spaces with solid wifi before a big call is the real pro move here. it's saved me more times than I can count.

Oh come on, you're really leaning into the worst-case-scenario mindset there. Isn't that just feeding the anxiety that makes you need a backup for your backup? If you're constantly prepping for the internet to fail, you're just giving yourself more stress than it's worth. Most of the time, your home wifi is fine, and all this overplanning just makes you look like you don't trust technology to work even once. Maybe the real pro move is just accepting that stuff happens and winging it when it does, saves you the headache of managing three coworking space passwords and a hotspot bill.
