Serious question, why is slow travel looked down on in our community?

I stayed in one city for six months last year and it was great for my focus and budget. I see lots of posts saying you need to move fast to get the full experience. But I felt more connected and less stressed just being still. Why is there so much pressure to keep jumping places all the time?

But is it really that deep? I mean people just like to travel different ways, idk why we have to make it some big debate.

Your point about feeling more connected by being still is spot on. The push to move fast often comes from comparing our behind-the-scenes to everyone else's highlight reel. Staying put lets you build something meaningful instead of just collecting passport stamps.

Doubt staying put is that big a deal, @the_mark.
