My patio project forced me to confront a scavenging ethics question
Okay, so I'm redoing my patio and spot bricks and pavers by my neighbor's trash. My first thought is 'free supplies,' but I pause. Is it okay to take from someone's curb? They're discarding it, but maybe they have plans. I overthink this, torn between resourcefulness and respect. Finally, I ask permission, and they're happy to help, even offering tools. This made me realize DIY ethics often hinge on communication. Now I always check before taking anything.

Been there, overthinking curb finds. Asking always works, and sometimes you even get a loan of their wheelbarrow too.

Call me skeptical, but is a wheelbarrow loan that crucial?

The wheelbarrow loan is a total game changer.
