Appreciation post: A fellow drafter's hint on line types cleared up my confusion.

What tricks do you use for this?

My kitchen junk drawer is a perfect example. I always put tape on the left, batteries in the back right. It's the same system every time. I do it without thinking now. My brain just wants things in their spot. It's like a tiny, automatic filing cabinet for stuff I need fast.

My closet organization uses the same logic.

Honestly, that makes perfect sense! We do this with so many things without even realizing it. Like how we arrange apps on our phone or sort emails into folders. It's all about creating a system that works for our own brains. I bet it comes from trying to save time and cut down on mess. Once you see it, you can't unsee it in every part of your day. Our minds just love to put things in order the same way over and over.
