Spent $400 on a drafting table upgrade and it's a total game changer

My old table was just a flat desk, and I was always hunched over my boards... my neck was a mess after a full day. I finally bit the bullet and got a proper adjustable drafting table about six months ago. It lets me tilt the surface to almost any angle I need. The difference in my posture and how my shoulders feel is huge... I can work longer without that ache setting in. Has anyone else made a switch like this and noticed a big change in how you feel at the end of the day?

Is the table really the main thing though? I've always just used a regular desk and made sure to get up and move around a lot... that seems to fix the ache for me. Maybe it's more about taking breaks than the gear.

You're onto something with the break thing. People get so focused on buying the perfect fix that they forget simple habits. It's like trying to solve a leak by buying a nicer bucket instead of just turning off the tap.

My back agrees with you and fisher.adam on the break thing.
