My friend's skin cleared up in two months after she stopped using physical scrubs.

I finally found a reliable way to test a power supply without a dedicated tester

Last week at the shop, I used a simple paperclip to jump the green and black wires on the 24-pin connector, which spun up the fan and confirmed the unit was dead. Has anyone else had success with this method on newer PSUs, or is there a better trick now?

I started tracking my links more closely at the start of the year, and just hit 100 links from actual local news outlets and industry blogs. I thought it would take years. The key was making a list of 30 reporters who cover my niche and sending them a short, helpful email with data they could use. It wasn't about asking for a link, just giving them a story idea. Has anyone else had luck with this reporter outreach method, or did you find a better way?

My old torque wrench gave out on a head gasket job

Was doing a head gasket on a 2008 Civic last Thursday. Got to the final torque sequence, about 30 foot-pounds in. Heard a soft click that felt wrong. The wrench just stopped holding. Had to run to the parts store and buy a new one, cost me $120. Has anyone else had a torque wrench fail right at the worst time? What brand did you switch to?
