I was so skeptical about LED light therapy masks until my client proved me wrong

One of my regulars, Sarah, kept raving about her at home LED mask for months. I figured it was just another gimmick you know? But she came in last week and I swear her redness and inflammation were way down compared to 3 months ago. She said she used it every night for 20 minutes. Has anyone else seen real results from these things or am I just imagining it?

I mean, I thought the same thing but my face literally looks less red after using mine for a month.

Wait, are we sure it's actually reducing redness long term or is it just a temporary calming effect that wears off? I tried one for three months and felt like my redness came back twice as bad after I stopped using it for a few days. Maybe it depends on what's causing your redness in the first place. My skin is more rosacea-prone so maybe that's why yours reacted differently. Just feels like a bandaid fix to me.

honestly I used to think LED masks were total nonsense too. I remember when my friend first showed me hers I was like "you really think a bunch of colored lights is gonna fix anything?" But then I started seeing before and after pics online from people I actually trust. @oliver2 mentioned it working for them after a month and that lines up with what I noticed on my own forehead acne scars. After about 6 weeks of using one the red marks faded way faster than they ever did with just my regular routine. it's not magic or anything but I definitely eat my words on this one.
