Just realized the McRib is actually pretty good despite everyone hating on it

I went into buying a McRib last month in Austin with super low expectations because everyone online trashes it as fake pork. But I had one fresh off the griddle at lunch and honestly the tangy sauce and pickles worked for me. The texture was way better than I expected, not chewy at all. Anyone else secretly like this thing or am I the only one?

You said "the texture was way better than I expected" and that's the part people sleep on. Everyone acts like it's some mystery meat patty but when it's fresh off the griddle that thing has a real rib-like chew to it, not mushy at all. The tangy sauce and pickles are the whole point, they cut through the richness and make it taste way more legit than it has any right to. I swear half the hate comes from people who only eat them cold or reheated from a box, which yeah would be gross. I've had them at three different McDonalds in two states and the difference between a fresh one and a sitting one is night and day. People need to stop listening to the internet mob and just try one when it's hot, it's a solid sandwich.
