Question about why every new burger has avocado now

I disagree with the hype around avocado on burgers. From my experience, it ruins the texture and makes the burger hard to eat. Not worth the extra cost.

Disagree, it turns the whole thing into a slippery mess.

Actually makes the texture better though, stops it from being too sticky. Kind of gives you more control in a weird way.
