I finally understood why my dad always said to dig the post holes a full 6 inches deeper than the frost line after a job in Duluth last month where a whole section of fence heaved up like a roller coaster.

Has anyone else had to deal with frost heave on a vinyl fence, and what's your go-to fix besides just waiting for spring?
