Rant: A client told me my glue-down vinyl prep was overkill
They said, 'You're spending two hours on a floor that just needs to be clean.' I used to scrape and prime every single inch, but now I just do a thorough vacuum and a damp mop unless the slab is really bad. Has anyone else had a client push back on your prep time?

Honestly how bad can it get if you skip a step or two. Seen plenty of floors that turned out fine without going overboard.
