Watch out for that new 'fast set' vinyl plank adhesive

Used it on a job in Springfield last month, the stuff they call 'Quick Bond Pro'. It set up way too fast, like under 10 minutes. We had to pull up half the floor in the master bedroom because we couldn't adjust the planks in time. Anyone else run into this? What's a good alternative for a big room?

That Quick Bond Pro sounds like a nightmare. It feels like everything these days is rushed for speed over actual use. I'd go with a standard trowel-applied adhesive for anything bigger than a closet.

Exactly! Old school is the way to go.

Totally agree with @david_mason57, I used that quick stuff once and the tiles were loose in a week. Switched back to the old trowel method and it's been solid for years.
