I quit sugar for two weeks and felt awful, not amazing
Everyone says cutting sugar boosts energy, but I was just tired and grumpy. Maybe some health trends don't work for everyone. What's your experience with sugar?

That sounds so familiar, I tried cutting sugar last month and felt TERRIBLE for days. My energy was gone and I was snapping at everyone, it was awful. Maybe our bodies just need time to get used to it, or maybe it's not for all people. Honestly, some health trends are just pushed too hard and don't think about how different everyone is. Hope you find what works for you without forcing it.

Hey @robinson.wren, when you say "maybe it's not for all people" I totally see where you're coming from... but that bad phase is just sugar withdrawal talking. Your body throws a fit because it's hooked on quick energy hits, not because cutting sugar is wrong. Those trends get pushed because for most folks, pushing past that awful week leads to way more stable moods and energy. Yeah we're all different, but sugar messes with everyone's health in the long run. The hard part is supposed to happen, it means your system is resetting. Giving up too soon means missing out on feeling actually better.

Actually felt pretty great when I added some sugar back after trying to cut it out. That whole withdrawal idea gets pushed hard but maybe some bodies just run better with a bit of quick fuel. Not every health fix works the same way for different people, and feeling awful for weeks isn't a good sign. Could be the problem is just eating way too much sugar, not having any at all.
