Rant: Everyone says 'natural flavors' is a red flag, but I compared it to 'artificial flavors' on two frozen pizzas.

The 'natural' one had 3 more grams of sugar and way more sodium, even though the front of the box made it seem healthier. Has anyone else found a 'clean' label that was actually worse for you?

That's a solid catch with the pizza. Makes you wonder if "natural" is just a marketing word now. What other "health halo" labels have you seen pull this trick?

Spot the same thing with "made with real fruit" on snacks. The box shows berries but the ingredients list has more apple juice concentrate than anything else, which is just sugar with a better story. It feels like they're banking on us being too busy or hopeful to flip the package over. That "natural" label is basically a permission slip to charge more for worse stuff. The health halo effect is real and it's on every shelf now.

Honestly, I just check the actual nutrition facts in the back.
