Confession: I ate a 3-day-old meatloaf sandwich with cold gravy as 'sauce'

I spent over 45 minutes last night trying to microwave that meatloaf just right without turning it into rubber, and it still came out dry. Ended up just slapping cold gravy on it from the jar and calling it dinner. Why do we act like leftovers are supposed to taste good when they're clearly just sad food experiments?

Cold gravy straight from the jar as a sauce? That's a bold move, my stomach hurt just reading that. You're right though, microwaving meatloaf is basically a gamble every time and cold gravy is just admitting defeat. Your honesty about sad food experiments is refreshing, but I think I need a minute to recover from the image of that jarred gravy situation.
