Update: My drone review made the neighbor's dog think it was a giant bird
I was filming with a review unit in my backyard when the dog next door started barking and chasing it. The owner came out yelling about aliens until I landed it and told her what it was. What's the weirdest reaction you've gotten while testing a gadget?

Read about a robotic vacuum that made a cat hiss and hide for days. @miamitchell is right about pets freaking out before people. Just proves animals see tech as a threat sometimes.

Is it always about seeing tech as a threat, or just confusion from something new? My cat mostly naps through the vacuum cleaner after the first weird week. Pets often react to sudden movements or sounds, not some deep fear of machines. They might just need time to learn it's harmless. Calling it a threat seems like putting human ideas onto animals.
