Called raised beds a silly trend until my backyard flooded
I used to believe they were just for show and too much work. After my plants drowned in wet soil again, I put in a couple and the drainage is perfect now. Everything grows stronger and I barely have to weed.

Totally proves that sometimes the "trends" are just smart fixes in disguise.

My buddy fixed his wobbly shelf with that trendy heavy duty duct tape everyone's posting about. Then he used those climbing carabiners to hang his plants instead of buying fancy hooks. Kept saying it was just hype until his whole apartment stayed organized for months. Makes you wonder how many "new" things are just old solutions with better marketing, right?
