My drip irrigation line split open right at the main valve connection
It happened two days ago after I turned the system on for the first time this spring. The pressure must have built up from a small winter freeze crack I didn't see. What's the best way to reinforce that connection point to stop it from happening again?

Honestly, the pressure didn't cause the crack, the freeze did.

Always blamed pressure too, but @haydenbutler makes a good point about the freeze.

Yeah, the pressure just finished what the freeze started. Robin_lee, we've all been there blaming the wrong thing. Maybe wrap that connection like it's going through a rough winter again.
