I just turned 30 and my Gen Z cousin called me 'elderly'
I mean, I knew 30 was a thing, but hearing my 16 year old cousin in Chicago say it with a straight face really hit different. It's like millennials are now the old people in the room, while Gen Z gets to make the jokes. Has anyone else had a moment where the age gap felt super real like that?

Oh man, that reminds me of when my little nephew asked if I had a flip phone in high school. I had to explain that, yes, we did, but we also had the early internet (which honestly felt like the wild west). It just makes you feel like a museum piece.

Right? I used to get so annoyed when people called us old for remembering dial-up, but @the_ivan is totally right about the wild west feeling. It actually makes me appreciate being from that in-between time. We had the freedom to explore online without every single thing being tracked and sorted for us. Now I kind of love telling those stories, it's like sharing a secret history.

Totally, that freedom was the best part.
