My niece asked me to pick between a side part and a middle part for her school picture
She's 14, I'm 32. I told her the side part looked more polished. She gave me this look like I suggested wearing a fanny pack. Went with the middle part. She loved it, I felt ancient. Anyone else get totally schooled on trends by a teenager?

That "fanny pack look" she gave you is the modern version of being told your music is lame. Side parts are basically the new mom jeans of hair, I swear. My little cousin told me my skinny jeans were "vintage" last week and I almost cried. How did we become the uncool aunts so fast?
