So I'm rewatching a bunch of spy movies and the luggage logistics are killing me.

They land in a foreign country and just... go. Where's the frantic hunt for the right baggage carousel? Or that sinking feeling when your bag is the last one off? In one film, the agent hops off an overnight flight looking perfect and heads straight to a meeting (no suitcase in sight). Then later, boom, he's got a full tuxedo. Did he check it? Carry it on? It's a tiny plot hole but it takes me right out of the story (because all I can think about is checked bag fees and lost luggage claims). Real travel has so much boring waiting around, and movies just delete it.

Why do movie spies never deal with baggage claim like we do?

Wait, you just made me realize they never even carry bags! They just land in Paris and the sports car with all their gear is already in the trunk. How does that even work, don't they need to get their fancy gadgets through customs?
