Saw my friend plan his entire workshop on grid paper for three days straight. He forgot to account for the door swing and had to redo half the shelving anyway.

My brother in law did this whole architectural layout for his shed. Spent a whole weekend drawing to scale. Then he realized his tape measure was off by an inch and none of his pre-cut shelves fit. Sometimes you just gotta eyeball it, throw the toolbox in the corner, and call it a day. What's the worst that happens, you have to move the lawnmower one more time?
